This extension collects nothing. There is no server, no analytics, and no third-party code. Nothing you do leaves your browser.

What is stored

Only the settings you create yourself:

• The key combinations you record
• Which action each one runs
• Any per-site rules you set
• Whether shortcuts are enabled, and whether they trigger inside text fields

Settings are stored using Chrome’s own storage.sync API — held in your browser and synchronised by Chrome across devices where you are signed in to the same Chrome profile. The developer has no access to it. A local snapshot of your previous settings is also kept in your browser (storage.local) so an unwanted import can be undone. It never leaves your device.

What is not collected

• No browsing history
• No page content
• No URLs — except when you bind the “Copy current URL” or “Bookmark this page” action, in which case the current tab’s URL is used at that moment to perform the action you asked for, and is not stored or transmitted
• No personal information
• No analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or usage statistics
• No advertising or tracking identifiers

Permissions

The extension installs without access to your websites. Page-level shortcuts require host access, which is requested at runtime and can be revoked at any time from Chrome’s extension settings. When revoked, the content script is unregistered immediately. While page access is granted, the extension inspects keydown events to check them against your own shortcut list. It does not read, modify, or transmit page content.

Outside the extension

Everything above describes the extension. One thing sits outside it and is worth naming plainly. The extension’s listing page on the Chrome Web Store has Google Analytics enabled — a standard option Google offers to developers. It records visits to that listing page, and the fact that an install happened. Google de-identifies and aggregates that data (the developer cannot see individual visitors) and retains it for two months. That analytics belongs to the listing page, which is a page on Google’s own site. It is not part of the extension. The extension ships no analytics code and makes no network requests of any kind, and nothing about your shortcuts or your browsing is involved.

Data sharing

None. There is no backend to share data with, and no data is sold, transferred, or disclosed to any third party.

Data deletion

Uninstalling the extension removes all of its stored data. You may also export your settings to a file at any time from the options page before uninstalling.

When you uninstall

Chrome opens one page on our site (rehobothbuilds.com/keyboard-shortcuts/goodbye) when the extension is removed. That page asks a single optional question — why you left — with four buttons. Nothing about you is sent when it opens; if you click a reason, only that reason is counted. No identifiers, no account, no cookies.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the version published with the extension and dated above.
